Updates

Alright, so it's been almost a week and a half since I posted, so here are some updates:
The training is going well, I've been keeping myself busy in the gym at least four days a week and my stamina and overall strength are increasing, I'm still comfortable with my timeline to be fully trained by the second week in June.
I've come to a conclusion, I'm not worried about the biking or the swimming portions of the event, but the running scares the bejesus out of me. As has been documented, my knee strength leaves a little to be desired, as do my flat feet, so I need some serious consultation by a shoe store to get the right shoes to where I don't injure myself running some gregariously long distance.
I need a bike, if you have one for sale let me know.
Otherwise, everything is going "swimmingly", and here are a few facts to leave you with:
More than 88,000 Americans are currently awaiting organ transplants (kidney, liver, heart, lung and pancreas). Of those, 61,000 are awaiting kidney transplants.
You can donate a kidney while you're still alive, with minimal health consequences.
Last year 14,000 Americans became kidney donors.

As always, contact me with any questions you may have about anything!
